THE GREEN COCKATOO
Prospero led a theatre group in Paris in the late eighteenth century. The profits, which had never been great start to fall and Prospero decides to change his activity. He then opens a tavern frequented by the actors of his company. The few nobles who attend the tavern are fascinated by the anecdotes that actors recount.
The daily life of artists, full of adventures, sometimes real, sometimes invented, aroused much interest in the nobility that Prospero’s tavern becomes the meeting point that is in vogue.
The action takes place on the night of July 14, 1789. The people enter the scene commenting the Storming of the Bastille. ¿Is it a reality or is it excellent staging by Prospero’s group?
