Here we have an irregular black box comprising a floor, three walls and a roof. The floor descends to the proscenium. The three walls are inclined towards the enclosure and the ceiling rises to the proscenium composing a funnel that is closed toward the background of the stage.

Perforations of different size and shape located on all the walls allow light through its opening and the immediate invasion of light in the box  creates the different fields of representation.

The accompanying engraving shows Helena’s entrance from behind the box. In this scene an irregular strips opens towards the back that stretches across the back wall and forms a platform connected to a footbridge that is lost in the background of the scene. A backlit draws Helena’s silhouette and holds it in a magical and unreal atmosphere...

Faust's desire  has materialized but is Helena a reality or an illusion?
